next 2026/03 ― Raymond swing, swang and swung like never before by a cliff overlooking a volcano in Baños, Ecuador.
Walking the Line
next 2026/02 ― Raymond walked along the imaginary equator line in Ecuador. He went to several places that claimed to be the real equator. An equator-themed museum showed false science, like perfectly balancing an egg at the equator, watching water drain in different directions a meter away from the equator, and walking along the equator […]
Mini-Putt
next 2026/01 ― It has been my dream to experience the Moai statues. Visiting those at the local mini-putt club is so much more affordable than those on Easter Island, and these statues glow in the dark!
Stuffed Pineapple
next 2025/12 ― The white rice creates a stark contrast in this colorful meal, which included a stuffed umbrella-enhanced pineapple. After eating this meal, I was the one who was stuffed.
Authentic Pizza
next 2025/09 – In Sanremo, Italy, a chef repeatedly threw pizza dough in the air and caught it. That gray dough was made of carbon vegetable flour. It was topped with porcini mushrooms and prosciutto. Baked, served, then devoured.
A Pouncing Saber-toothed Tiger
next 2025/08 ― In Drumheller, Alberta, two puny saber-toothed tiger skeletons attack a huge mastodon skeleton. Raymond does not measure up to those exaggerated tusks.
Mike Hall
next 2005/07 ― In Vermilion, Alberta, Raymond had the pleasure to meet Mike Hall from the TV show Rust Valley Restorers. We were looking at old cars. This red 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air was my favorite.
A Kronosaurus
next 2025/06 ― This terrifying apex predator is a kronosaurus. Think of it as a giant crocodile head on the body of a whale. It has been in Villa de Leyva, Colombia for over 100 million years! Rather than to move this fossil, a museum was built on top of it.
